STORY BEHIND SWEAT

From an early age, Chase Kelly’s love for fitness was more than just a hobby—it was a way of life. As a high school athlete on a state champion powerlifting team, Chase discovered his fascination with the science behind training, which laid the foundation for his future. This passion grew, pushing him to pursue a degree in exercise science and nutrition, where he began training clients of all ages, from 8 to 80. After retiring as a college athlete, Chase turned his focus to bodybuilding, a new challenge that deepened his commitment to the world of fitness. His drive for personal growth was matched by a genuine desire to help others realize their potential. This passion for coaching, combined with his scientific understanding of exercise, inspired the creation of Sidewinder Fitness—a space where Chase could merge his knowledge with his love for guiding people to reach their fitness goals. Sidewinder Fitness was built with the belief that fitness is transformative, not just physically but mentally. Chase’s mission is simple: to make lasting changes in people’s lives by equipping them with the tools and confidence to unlock their full potential. His journey from state powerlifting champion to fitness coach is one driven by passion, discipline, and the desire to share that fire with others.

Our Trainers

Chase Kelly is the founder of Sidewinder Fitness and a dedicated fitness coach with a background in exercise science, nutrition, and bodybuilding. A former college athlete, state champion powerlifter, and the 2024 Mr. Ohio Novice Bodybuilding Champion, Chase also earned the title of Mr. Ohio Heavyweight Bodybuilding Runner-Up. His journey into fitness started at a young age, driven by a passion for the science behind training. With a degree in exercise science, Chase has worked with clients from ages 8 to 80, helping them achieve their fitness goals through personalized coaching. Whether it’s bodybuilding, weight loss, or functional training, Chase combines his expertise with a passion for making lasting changes in people’s lives. His mission is to inspire and empower others to reach their full potential, one step at a time.
